Brave little snowdrops
Galanthus sp.
I've seen snopdrops just starting to peep through this week. I'm very excited about all my spring bulbs coming through! This one is from last year but I thought it was a good time to post it.
Something from the vegbox
because sometimes it's easier to find something to draw from in the fridge than it is from outside.
Brassica oleracea (yeah... broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, kale and sprouts are all the same species. Weird eh?)

Oysters in the woods
Pleurotus umbrinus
These oyster mushrooms were collected and illustrated at the weekend. We were staying in Preston Montford and enjoyed some lovely autumnal fungi foraging.
I chose this specimen because the group of mushrooms on the bark looked like they were posing for a family portrait.
Different greens
My first post!
I'm going to put some things from the past year up, and then add to it as I do some more.
Various leaves, all different shades of green.
